Privacy Policy — EagLe Education

Short version: We collect your name, email, school, and role when you register. We use it to manage your account and send you your license key. We do not sell your data. We do not share it with third parties beyond what is needed to run the service.

1. Who We Are

EagLe Education is an AI learning platform for K–12 students, created and operated by Dr. Kushagra Goyal (India). You can reach us at goyalkushagra92@gmail.com.

2. What Data We Collect

When you create an account on this website, we collect:

Full name
Email address
School or institution name
Role (Student / Teacher / Parent / Other)
Password (stored encrypted by Supabase — we never see it in plain text)

When you use the EagLe desktop app, the app stores the following locally on your device:

Name, email, school (entered at first launch)
License key (if you have one)
A machine identifier (used only to enforce the 3-device activation limit)
Crash logs (stored only on your device — sent to us only if you choose to share them)

3. How We Use Your Data

To create and manage your account
To send you your license key after purchase
To send you product updates and announcements (you can opt out at any time)
To enforce the 3-device activation limit on licenses
To respond to your support requests

We do not use your data for advertising, profiling, or any purpose beyond running the EagLe service.

4. Who We Share Data With

We use the following third-party services to operate the platform:

Supabase — database and authentication (stores your account data securely)
Web3Forms — contact form submissions (forwards your message to our email)
Netlify — website hosting (serves this website; no personal data stored by them)

We do not sell, rent, or trade your personal data to any third party.

5. Data Storage and Security

Your account data is stored on Supabase servers with encryption at rest and in transit. Passwords are hashed and never stored in plain text. We follow reasonable security practices to protect your data.

6. Children's Privacy

EagLe is a product used in schools. Where students under 13 use the app, accounts are expected to be created by a teacher or parent on the student's behalf. We do not knowingly collect personal data directly from children under 13 without parental or school consent.

7. Your Rights

You have the right to:

Access the personal data we hold about you
Request correction of inaccurate data
Request deletion of your account and data

8. Cookies

This website uses only a session cookie set by Supabase to keep you logged in. We do not use tracking cookies, advertising cookies, or analytics cookies.

9. Changes to This Policy

If we make significant changes to this policy, we will update the "Last updated" date above and notify registered users by email.
