About EagLearn

Learners were told about AI. Nobody let them build it.

EagLearn started in classrooms. It exists so that learners can build a real model, test it, and understand why it works or fails, from their first session.

Our story

Why EagLearn was built

Dr. Kushagra Goyal is an AI researcher and educator with a Ph.D. from the Indian Institute of Technology (IIT) Ropar. His research covers machine learning, deep neural networks and materials informatics, with more than eight peer-reviewed publications and three granted Indian patents.

For more than five years he worked inside schools across India, designing and teaching AI, robotics, IoT and data science programmes for more than 4,000 students in more than 15 schools. He kept seeing the same gap: the tools for teaching AI were built for universities, or not built for classrooms at all. Students were being told about AI. Nobody was letting them build it.

EagLearn was built to close that gap. It is grounded in project-based learning and Bloom’s taxonomy, the frameworks he used to design school curricula: learners move from remembering to creating, by building something that works and then explaining it.

“Every child I have taught who built their first AI model looked at the screen differently afterward. Not at a tool. At something they made. That moment is what EagLe is built for.”

What drives EagLearn

Five principles behind every decision

Build, do not watch

Every lesson ends with a model the learner trained, not a video they watched.

Look inside

Every model can be opened up, so learners see why it answered, not just what.

Honest numbers

Scores come from examples a model never saw. Anything not yet proven is labelled so.

Privacy first

Learners’ photos, sounds and poses stay on their own device.

Classroom first

Ordinary school laptops and phones, no installs, guided steps and lessons that fit one period.

Where EagLearn is today

Six journeys, two open now

EagLearn is in early access. Junior and Maker are open; Early Years, Explorer, Creator and Researcher are planned.

  • Early Years PlannedPatterns, sorting and order, before any AI.
  • Junior Open nowThree labs: teach a computer to see, hear and recognise a pose.
  • Maker Open now19 AI brains, programming and robots, with 22 starter projects.
  • Explorer PlannedInside the network: layers, settings and evaluation.
  • Creator PlannedLanguage: how a computer reads and writes.
  • Researcher PlannedEvidence, limits and responsible AI.
